Follow this guide to connect a device from power-on to first data. Keep steps short and include validation checkpoints so readers know they are on track.
Prerequisites
- A provisioning profile for the device
- Network coverage confirmed for your region
- Access to the Soracom User Console
Step 1: Register the device
- Log in to the User Console.
- Navigate to SIM Management.
- Select Register SIM and enter the ICCID.
Step 2: Configure connectivity
Apply the APN settings on the device.
APN: soracom.io
Username: sora
Password: soraStep 3: Validate telemetry
Send a test payload and confirm the device shows as Online in the console.
Validation: You should see data in the device logs within 60 seconds.
