Data Entry Point
The Unified Endpoint provides a single ingress URL that devices use to send data to the Soracom platform. Instead of configuring each device to target a specific service, all data is sent to one address and automatically routed to whichever Soracom services are enabled on the device's group.
What it does
- Single URL for all devices — Send data to
unified.soracom.ioregardless of the backend destination - Automatic routing — Data is forwarded to Beam, Funnel, Funk, or Harvest based on group configuration
- Protocol support — Accepts HTTP, UDP, and TCP from connected devices
- No device-side config changes — Switch backend services by updating group settings, not device firmware
What to scale to next
Once teams standardize on a single ingress endpoint, they usually scale delivery and operations with:
- Direct Cloud Delivery — Use when you want managed cloud adapters and less custom forwarding configuration per destination.
- Soracom Flux — Use when payload routing needs conditional logic, automation, and event-driven workflows.
- Soracom Lagoon — Use when operations and business teams need dashboards and shared reporting on incoming device data.
