Soracom provides satellite-based connectivity options for IoT deployments in locations where cellular, WiFi, and LPWAN networks are unavailable. Satellite-connected devices integrate with the Soracom platform and access the same data routing, storage, and management services as other connectivity types.
What it does
- Global coverage: Reach devices in remote, offshore, or rural locations outside terrestrial network range
- Platform integration: Route satellite device data through Beam, Funnel, Harvest, and other services
- Multi-connectivity fleet: Manage satellite devices alongside cellular, Arc, and LPWAN devices
- Reliable uplink: Maintain communication with devices in harsh or isolated environments
