Sigfox
Soracom integrates with the Sigfox network, allowing ultra-low-power devices to send small data payloads through the Soracom platform. Sigfox devices benefit from the same data routing, storage, and visualization services available to cellular and LoRaWAN devices.
What it does
- Sigfox device registration: Manage Sigfox devices alongside cellular and LPWAN devices in the console
- Data ingestion: Receive Sigfox uplink messages and route them through platform services
- Ultra-low power: Support devices that transmit small payloads with minimal energy consumption
- Unified fleet view: Monitor Sigfox, cellular, and LoRaWAN devices from a single dashboard
Common use cases
- Simple sensor telemetry (temperature, humidity, open/close status)
- Asset tracking with infrequent location updates
- Utility metering with periodic readings
