Soracom Canal establishes a private peering connection between your Soracom Virtual Private Gateway (VPG) and an AWS VPC. Device traffic flows directly between networks without traversing the public internet.
What it does
- VPC peering — Create a direct peering link between your VPG and an AWS VPC in the same region
- Private routing — Route device traffic to AWS resources using private IP addresses
- No internet exposure — Device-to-cloud communication stays within private network boundaries
